The “Window of the City” Pavilion
The Prime Attraction of the Expo Site

The Expo 2010 Shanghai site lies in the heart of Shanghai on both banks of the Huangpu River, divided into the Puxi and Pudong areas. The thematic show “Window of the City” is located at Houtan Square in Zone C, at Gate 8 of the Pudong area. Covering 2,500 square meters, Houtan Square is a key entrance for VIP guests and the busiest entrance for tour groups, so the pavilion is the most eye-catching landmark visitors see as soon as they enter the site, a sign of its importance. The pavilion is 106 meters long, 75 meters wide and 20 meters high, with a total area of 6,300 square meters and more than 2,000 seats, making it the only performance at Expo 2010 Shanghai with its own dedicated pavilion.
